RUUD VAN NISTELROOY HAS TIPPED BOBBY ZAMORA

Ruud van Nistelrooy has tipped Bobby Zamora to gatecrash England's 2010 FIFA WorldCup South Africa team player. The Fulham former has met the net versus the loves of Juventus, Wolfsburg and Shakhtar Donetsk to hand the Cottagers into the end four of the UEFA Europe League, where they play Hamburg in the first leg tonight. Time is running out for Zamora, even though with Capello due to name his 30-man provisional player on 16 May. The striker Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United  player's burly physique would make him an unfashionable option for some but Van Nistelrooy, who will begin versus Fulham tonight, trusts he deserves a chance. After spending much of his three-and-half-year spell at Real madrid either out of favour on the treatment table, Van Nistelrooy decided to move to Germany on an 18 month contract in January. "They can beat anyone, that's what they have proved," Nistelrooy said.
